Team "USA" defeated Team "Europe" in the Friar Ryder Cup at River Forest County Club

The final all team event for 2025 Ryder Cup bragging rights went to team USA.  In match play, Johnny Cox defeated Luke Sherlock, Alex Kulisek defeated Michael McMahon, Clayton Dine defeated James Papp to give Team Europe a 3-0 lead.  Team Europe determined to not be shut out, saw Ryan Brennan defeating Marco Cefalu, and Conor Hanley defeating Danny O'Donoghue to cut the lead to one.  From there, Will Butman and Jay Raber as well as Lee Sheahan and Aidan Haefner ended all square.  However, USA's young guns shut out Team Europe with Peter Sweeney defeating Parker Gacek, Bryce Draeger defeating Joseph McKillop, Lucas White defeating David Sawicki, Peter McFadden defeating Frank Grote, and Connor McSwain defeating Nick Kmiecik to seal the deal for Team USA.
