    Tuition for the 2027-2028 school year is $19,950

Tuition Assistance via Blackbaud Financial Aid Management  for the 2027-2028 year is now open for returning students/families. Although the system is open, no application for transfer or incoming student (Class of 2031) will be reviewed until that student has been accepted to Fenwick.

  • 2027-2028 Tuition Assistance Information

    Financial Aid will be processed through Blackbaud Financial Aid Management. The process opens in October with directions sent to current families and potential incoming students.

  • Divorced/Separated/Non-Married Parents

    All separate household families seeking assistance will need both households to submit a financial aid application via Blackbaud Financial Aid Management. Applications without full documentation will not be reviewed.

  • Sibling Discount

    Starting with the 2026-2027 school year, Fenwick will establish a sibling discount for multi-student families; a second child’s tuition will receive a 5% discount, and a third child’s tuition will receive a 10% discount. Our sibling tuition discount policy reflects Fenwick's support for the family as the essential unit of society. It reinforces our commitment to welcome children as God sends them to us. Our children are a blessing to share with our community.

  • First Responder, Military, & Catholic Educator Discount

    Fenwick High School offers a tuition discount for families with a parent or guardian who is an active or retired military, an active first responder (police/fire), or a full-time Catholic school educator. Grounded in our Dominican pillars of Community and Preaching, this policy reflects Fenwick’s gratitude for those who embody the Dominican tradition by proclaiming the truth through public service and Catholic education. We proudly support these families as vital members of our Friar community.
 

In-House Tuition Assistance

Fenwick High School has a tuition assistance program in order to assist families with the cost of tuition. Families must apply each year for tuition assistance. This year, Fenwick awarded $2.2 million in need-based assistance.

Scholarship Opportunities 2026-2027

In addition to Fenwick’s tuition assistance, many of our students receive awards from various groups and organizations. These groups generally have similar requirements (application, tax return information, asset and housing information) and some may have additional requirements for academic achievement. Please feel free to call the listed agencies for more information. If you are interested in applying to one of these organizations be aware that most have very strict deadlines. Contact them to obtain further information.
  • Daniel Murphy Scholarship Fund
    Daniel Murphy awards up to $7,000 per year to students. Application deadline is October 1, 2026. Call 312-455-7803 or click here.
  • HFS Chicago Scholars
    HFS provides scholarships to economically disadvantaged, at-risk Chicago inner-city students who show academic leadership and promise. Application information becomes available in August with a  deadline in November 2026. For application details call 312-421-4070 or click here.
  • HighSight
    HighSight provides scholarships to Chicago families with motivated students. Applications for the class of 2031 will be available in February 2027 and due by March 2027. Call 312-787-9824 or click here.
  • Link
    Link awards $3,000–$5,000 per year to economically disadvantaged African-American students. Applications open in October and applicants are encouraged to apply early. Call 312-225-5465 or click here.

  • Tuition Assistance Application Process

    Tuition Assistance grants are made for one year and, therefore, you must reapply each year.

    The application process is self-guided. You can navigate in and out of the program allowing you to go back to the application at a later time. The application charge is $55.00 per family, payable by credit card at the end of the session.

  • Income and Tax Information

    In order to submit your application, you are required to submit your 2025 Federal and State tax returns along with all supporting schedules and 2025 W-2s. Fenwick reserves the right to ask for your 2026 tax return at a later date.

Please note that tuition assistance funds are limited and demand is high. Applications submitted after the deadline, may result in funds not being available for your family. It is critical that your application and required tax returns are submitted by the to be determined spring deadline.
