Friar Philanthropy Forum

Purpose of club: The Philanthropy Club is dedicated to making a difference in the lives of those in need through service, volunteering, fundraising and spreading awareness. Each school year the club will determine its charitable partners- referred to as the “branches”- based on its member and community needs. These branches may include - St. Jude, Misericordia, Rush Children’s hospital, and Meals on Wheels but may change year to year. This will continue throughout the school year (2 semesters).  Each branch will focus on supporting its organization by planning service projects, organizing fundraisers, and promoting awareness within the schools community. Members will work together to partner with these organizations, whether by volunteering at events or leading school-wide initiatives to raise support for their causes.
