Dear Future Friars and Future Fenwick Families,

Thank you for taking the time to consider Fenwick High School as your future school. Since its founding in 1929, Fenwick has been an institution that expects and encourages excellence from its student body. Fenwick Friars are part of an environment that focuses on developing the whole student. Rigorous academics, competitive athletics and the Dominican Catholic pillars of prayer, study, community and preaching prepare each and every student to be successful in high school, college and beyond, professionally and personally.

Our diverse student body consists of young men and women with different economic and cultural backgrounds from throughout Chicagoland. Being a Fenwick Friar means that you are a part of the Fenwick community that shares our school’s strong tradition of excellence and firmly believes that holding high expectations of one another will result not only in our individual success but the success of our greater community. We continually seek to attract students to Fenwick who are willing to work hard, in and outside of the classroom, and who maintain high expectations of themselves and their peers.

This website provides important information about becoming a Fenwick Friar. After visiting our site, please do not hesitate to contact my office with any questions you may have about Fenwick. We look forward to speaking with you and your family.

Warmest regards,
Patrick Jacobsen
Director of Admissions
