Get the Fenwick Friar experience by signing up to be a Friar for a day. Future Friar Shadow Days are open to current 7th graders during the Spring of 2026! Dates start February 3rd and run through mid-May 2026.
How It Works
Students will be paired with a Fenwick Student Ambassador, one with whom the student shares common interests. If the junior high visitor has a sibling who is a student at Fenwick and would like to shadow him or her, please inform the Admissions Department of that person when the appointment is made. This does not guarantee a shadow day with that particular student.
A student can shadow any day of the week Fenwick has classes, except Mondays for the Spirng of 2026. Check with your elementary school to see if they have a specific day scheduled for students to shadow high schools.
The day begins at 8:30 a.m. (please arrive at 8:15 a.m.) and conclude at 1:30 p.m. Students will be given a voucher to use in the Student Cafeteria to purchase a lunch.

What to Wear
We ask that shadows adhere to the following dress code.
Boys: Dress pants, dress shoes and a collared shirt. Polo style shirts are acceptable. Fenwick students are required to wear a tie, so if the shadow feels comfortable wearing one, he may feel free to do so.
Girls: Dress pants or dress skirt and dress shoes.
Absolutely NO jeans, gym shoes, T-shirts, sweat pants, sweat shirts, sleeveless or mid-drift tops allowed. Shadows will not be allowed to attend classes if they are inappropriately dressed.
