Fenwick High School is excited to announce the appointment of Adrian Remeniuk as the new head coach for the Boys’ Soccer program. With a wealth of experience as both a coach and a player, Coach Remeniuk brings a dynamic and accomplished background to the Fenwick soccer community.
Coaching Career Highlights: Coach Remeniuk has over seven years of coaching experience, including his current role as Varsity Assistant Coach for both Boys and Girls Soccer at Fenwick High School. His tenure at Glenbrook District 225 in Glenview, IL, included coaching roles as Assistant Varsity Coach for Glenbrook North Girls Soccer and Sophomore Boys Soccer Coach at Glenbrook South. Under his leadership, the teams achieved multiple championship titles, including the 2022 Sophomore Tournament Conference Championship.
Additionally, Coach Remeniuk has demonstrated a strong commitment to goalkeeper development. He served as a Personal Goalkeeper Coach at Kronser Keeper Academy and a Goalkeeper Coach on staff at Camp Shutout, focusing on technical training and decision-making skills essential to the position.
Playing Career Highlights: A standout athlete himself, Coach Remeniuk was a Division I player at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he contributed to the 2017 Big Ten Tournament Championship and earned Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week honors. His professional development included time with the Chicago Fire SC (2013-2016), where he trained with the First Team and competed in the Premier Development League. As a youth player, he honed his skills with the Chicago Fire Academy and Sockers FC Chicago Academy.
Coach Remenuck is also a school counselor at Fenwick and will begin his new role as Head Boys’ Soccer Coach immediately.
