Four RBI Day for Rylee Graves Seals the Deal in Fenwick Friars JV's Victory Over Whitney Young

Fenwick Friars JV defeated Whitney Young 6-3 on Thursday thanks in part to Rylee Graves, who drove in four runners.  Graves drove in runs on a home run in the first and a home run in the fifth.

 

Whitney Young scored three runs in the first inning, but Fenwick Friars JV still managed to pull out the victory.  The big inning for Whitney Young came thanks to an error on a ball put in play by PlayerC and a double by PlayerD.

 

Fenwick Friars JV opened up scoring in the first inning.  Graves drove in two when Graves homered.

 

Whitney Young evened things up at three in the bottom of the first inning when PlayerD doubled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring two runs.

 

Fenwick Friars JV pulled away for good with three runs in the fifth inning.  In the fifth Graves homered on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring two runs and Liv Cameron grounded out, scoring one run.

 

Gianna Pescatore took the win for Fenwick Friars JV. The righty lasted four innings, allowing three hits and zero runs while striking out nine and walking zero.

 

PlayerJ took the loss for Whitney Young. The bulldog went seven innings, allowing six runs on ten hits and striking out two.

 

Katie McCarthy started the game for Fenwick Friars JV. The pitcher lasted three innings, allowing two hits and three runs while striking out four

 

Fenwick Friars JV hit two home run on the day. Graves went for the long ball in the first and fifth innings.

 

Fenwick Friars JV racked up ten hits in the game.  Pescatore, Cameron, Graves, and Gianna Bonano each had multiple hits for Fenwick Friars JV.  Bonano, Graves, Cameron, and Pescatore each managed two hits to lead Fenwick Friars JV.
