Walk Off Winner

For The Second straight game Entler hits a double in the gap in the 7th, driving in two runs to win 5-4. This time it was a walk off winner. Entler Finished with 4 RBI on the day. 
It came down to the wire on Thursday, with Fenwick Varsity Friars taking victory on a dramatic walk-off double in the late innings that sealed their victory over De La Salle Varsity Meteors.  Fenwick Varsity Friars trailed 4-3 in the bottom of the seventh inning when Madelyn Entler doubled on a 3-2 count, scoring two runs.
 
De La Salle Varsity Meteors scored three runs in the sixth inning, but Fenwick Varsity Friars still managed to pull out the victory.  Anayise Echeverria and Alexis Sheddy each drove in runs during the inning.
 
Talia Lorenzo was the winning pitcher for Fenwick Varsity Friars. The righthander surrendered three runs on four hits over six innings, striking out 14 and walking zero.
 
Maura Babuskow took the loss for De La Salle Varsity Meteors. Babuskow went six innings, allowing five runs on seven hits and striking out two.
 
Janda started the game for Fenwick Varsity Friars. Janda allowed one hit and one run over one inning, striking out two and walking one
 
Entler went 2-for-4 at the plate to lead Fenwick Varsity Friars in hits.  Fenwick Varsity Friars didn't commit a single error in the field. Sophie Stone had  16 chances in the field, the most on the team.
