1st Doubles Win at Pat Grant Invitiational

Girls Varsity Tennis finished strong at Pat Grant Invitational. With a focus this year on improving our doubles performance, the doubles teams led the way for the Friars as they competed in the Pat Grant Invitational hosted by Niles West High School. Seniors Emma Louderback and Coco Braithwaite won the championship at 1^st Doubles. A historical note— Emma has never lost in this tournament whether she played singles or doubles! Juniors Riley Boos and Jane Steinhagen finished third at 2^nd Doubles and Seniors CC D’Alise and Mary Dobry finished second at 3^rd Doubles. Fenwick singles players played tough matches against Niles North and conference rival Nazareth. Senior Meg Prabhu finished fifth at 2^nd singles while seniors Lucy Gruber and Mia Winter finished sixth at 1^st and 3^rd singles respectively. Sophomore Ada Ude, who is sidelined with an ankle injury, came out to support her teammates and do some recon on Nazareth.
