Conference Win in Home Opener

The Friars met conference rival St. Francis at Taylor Park on September 9th, and brought home the win.  It was the first conference match of the season.  Emma Louderback '27 won at first singles (6-0, 6-1) as did1st doubles team Maddie Cheronis '26/Sydney Woitel '26 (6-4, 6-4).  Third doubles pair Olivia Perez Zuleta '26/Maeve Bonakdar '27 turned in another thrilling performance (6-1, 3-6, 10-7) to clinch the win for the Friars.  Katie McCarthy  '26 lost a close match at 2nd singles as did Meg Prabhu '27 at 3rd singles.  CC D'Alise '27/Mary Dobry '27 were ahead at 4th doubles when time was called when the Oak Park Park District arrived to claim the courts.
