Purpose of club: Leviathan Book Club offers students a chance to read and discuss challenging, lengthy texts that are best tackled together with a group and to engage with and celebrate literature in a way that fosters a love of reading and scholarship.. We read one book over the course of the year and meet once each week to discuss about 25-30 pages of reading. With student input, moderators will select each year’s book. Past books include Moby-Dick, The Brothers Karamazov, Don Quixote, and One Hundred Years of Solitude.
