Information for Riders

    • Students with route passes will determine the bus routes. Occasional riders (ticket riders) will not influence bus route stop locations.
    • Every effort will be made to schedule a stop within a few blocks of each student's home. Stops are typically made at the nearest major intersection.
    • Route details will be determined by August - pick-up times, stops, etc.
    • Route riders should be at their stop at least five minutes before their scheduled pick-up time.
    • Shuttle riders should monitor train statuses at metra.com or the Ventra App for delays. We recommend purchasing Metra tickets via the Ventra App and using the student fare program.
    • Temporary bus passes and route information will be sent once routes are finalized. Shuttle riders will receive their information in July. Permanent bus passes for the 2026/2027 school year will be processed once ID photos are taken. Your student ID is your bus pass.
    • Riders must present their student ID or bus tickets to the driver.
    • All buses will arrive at Fenwick no later than 7:45 am and depart after Period 11.
    • Occasional rider bus tickets are available for purchase on Ultracamp and are valid only for shuttle services. Route tickets can be requested by emailing transportation@fenwickfriars.com. The cost of the ticket books is $60.00 for 10 rides. Please bring your receipt to the reception desk to claim your book.
All yellow school buses are limited to 48 students. All white minibuses & vans are limited to 14 students per bus/van. For questions, please email us at transportation@fenwickfriars.com.
