The Fenwick Girls' Swim Team maintained its post-season dominance at home on Saturday by capturing its 16th straight IHSA Sectional Championship. "Congratulations to Coach [Renee] Miller and the Friar Girls' Swimming & Diving Team on this amazing run," praises Athletic Director, Mr. Scott Thies '99. "A lot of great coaches and student-athletes have contributed to this streak!"
On Saturday, the Friars posted 13 state-qualifying performances from 11 swimmers, including Ciara Mulcahy '19, who has come back from a serious, mid-season knee injury to advance in three events: the 100-meter Freestyle, the 200 Free Relay and the 400 Free Relay.
