Physical Fitness Club


The Fenwick Weight Lifting and Fitness Club is a year-round club. The program is open to all Fenwick students. This club is designed for students looking to improve themselves in general fitness or sports-specific areas. The program is designed to bring awareness, knowledge and skill in the areas of weightlifting, cardiovascular health, flexibility training, and general overall good health. The program also teaches self-discipline, camaraderie, self-confidence, and mental wellness through physical activity. Interested students should speak to Mr. Moland about joining.​


Students who join the club will be put through cycles of strength training and moderate intensity interval training. Members will be directed on how to track their performance and map their improvements throughout the year. Using proper form will be an important component of the club.

Student will focus on the major lifts: bench press, squat, deadlift, lifts that focus on other muscle groups, and some interval training. This will allow students to focus on increasing their strength and also make improvements on their cardiovascular health and overall body image and confidence.

We will also have conversations and discussions about nutrition and personal fitness goals.


Currently, we meet twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays. From 3:30 to 5:00. 

Future events will include a sponsored weight lifting competition to join the 400 & 500 Club (women) and the 800 & 1000 Club (men)
