Fenwick COO Retires; New CFO Steps Up

After more than 10 years of faithful and expert service to the Fenwick community, Nancy Bufalino (pictured) is retiring from her position as chief operating officer on March 3.
"I am very grateful to Nancy for all her good work as COO," says President Fr. Richard Peddicord, O.P. "Suffice it to say that the strength of our overall financial situation is due to her watchful care. What is more, she brought efficiency to our financial aid program and business office procedures; as well as providing painstaking attention to the details of contracts for everything from copying machines to land acquisitions and construction projects.

"At the same time, her work with the Finance Committee, the Investment Committee, the Facilities Committee and the Fenwick Foundation was always marked by professionalism and mastery of the matters at hand," Father continues. "Fenwick High School is indeed in Nancy's debt! In honor of Ms. Bufalino’s retirement, the Fenwick community today will celebrate a festive Mardi Gras lunch!

As of March 6, Ms. Annie Gomez (presently director of finance and accounting) will be promoted to chief financial officer of Fenwick, reporting to Fr. Peddicord and the senior leadership team.
