Senior Day Success

Senior Day was a Huge Success. Thank You to Colleen Lorenzo for all the time and effort put into making Senior Day Special for our seniors.

Entler went yard Twice and finished another game with 4 RBI 
Madelyn Entler would not be denied at the plate when runners were on base on Saturday, driving in four on three hits to lead Fenwick Varsity Friars past Northside College Prep  10-2 on Saturday.  Entler drove in runs on a home run in the first, a single in the third, and a home run in the fourth.
 
Fenwick Varsity Friars secured the victory thanks to six runs in the fourth inning.  Ellie Kolb, Talia Lorenzo, Gabriella Simon, and Entler all moved runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning.
 
In the bottom of the third inning, Fenwick Varsity Friars tied things up at two.  Entler singled on a 2-2 count, scoring one run.
 
Fenwick Varsity Friars pulled away for good with six runs in the fourth inning.  In the fourth a sacrifice bunt by Kolb scored one run for Fenwick Varsity Friars, Lorenzo singled on a 2-1 count, scoring one run, Simon singled on a 3-1 count, scoring two runs, and Entler homered on a 0-2 count, scoring two runs.
 
Sophie Stone pitched Fenwick Varsity Friars to victory. The righty lasted seven innings, allowing one hit and two runs while striking out 19.
 
Fenwick Varsity Friars hit two home run on the day. Entler had a homer in the first and fourth innings.
 
Fenwick Varsity Friars totaled 14 hits in the game.  Entler, Simon, Stone, and Lorenzo each collected multiple hits for Fenwick Varsity Friars.  Simon and Entler all had three hits to lead Fenwick Varsity Friars.  Fenwick Varsity Friars was sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Mollie Meehan had the most chances in the field with ten.
