We Had to take advantage of the beautiful weather And add this game last minute. New Trier came out with only a moments notice. The Fenwick Friars Varsity team took the field at Ruby in Melrose Park at 5PM on Monday, March 22nd. We won the game in 5 innings by slaughter rule. Talia struck out 12. 12 of the 15 recorded outs were by way of strikeout. Kailey Janda went 4/4 with 2 doubles, 2 triples and 4RBI
Sophie Stone was firing rockets from Third to First base. Legendary Coach Dave Power was in attendance to support the Fenwick Friars. Simon(SS) went 3 for 3 with 1 single, 1 double and 1 triple, scoring 3 times and walking once.

New Trier loses to Fenwick
March 21, 2022: Melrose Park IllinoisThe Fenwick Friars softball team scored 10 runs and limited the host New Trier Trevians to 0 in the Friars non-league triumph on Monday.
With the triumph, Fenwick moves its record to 2-0 on the year. The Friars travel to Lincoln Park (Chicago, IL) to clash with the Lions in a non-league game on Friday, March 25. The Lions come into the game with a record of 2-1. Lincoln Park won 10-0in their recent league game against Agricultural Science (Chicago, IL)
In their next game, the Trevians clash with the Rolling Meadows Mustangs (Rolling Meadows, IL) in a non-league game, on Friday, April 1. New Trier will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record.
