Bats were Hot! Weather was not.

Bats were Hot! Weather was not. For most of us, if not all, it was our first game together. We had a fun bus ride over and we showed up eager to play. Jones didn't know what hit them in a long top half of the first inning. We scored 14 in the top half of the first. Stone tripled, driving in 3. Barganski homered driving in 3. Kolb tripled driving in 3. To make matters worse, for Jones, our pitching was on. Lorenzo shut them down quick in the bottom half of the first with a 3 up, 3 down, 3 strike out, 9 pitch inning. Janda repeated that performance, in the circle, in the bottom half of the 2nd inning with a 3 up, 3 down, 3 strike out inning. That was all Jones could handle. Jones conceded the game before we started the 3rd inning.
