Fenwick Junior Accepted into Stanford International/Cross-Cultural Program

River Forest’s Aimee Morrissey joins 14 other elite students from the U.S.


Congratulations to Aimee Morrissey ’20, of River Forest, who this week received news that she has been accepted into the Stanford University Program on International and Cross-Cultural Education (SPICE). “Aimee will be a part of a cohort of just 15 elite students selected throughout the United States for the Sejong Korean Scholars Program,” reports Social Studies Teacher and Fenwick alumnus Gary Richied ’95. “As such, this upcoming March through June, Aimee will be engaged in intensive, virtual classroom, online studies on Korean culture and history with ambassadors and top scholars from the United States and Korea.”

Ms. Morrissey was selected based on her merits as an historian and social scientist as well as her participation in the Model UN Club as a head delegate.
