GRANDPARENTS’ DAY DETAILS
Grandparents’ and Special Guests’ day is fast approaching - Wednesday, October 10th! All students are invited to bring grandparents or special guests to spend an afternoon at Fenwick. Mass will begin at 1:15pm in the Auditorium, followed by a reception with light refreshments and an opportunity to take a professional family photograph. There is no cost to attend this event.
Even if your student will not be participating in the afternoon event, please review this carefully as scheduling changes affect the whole student body. Additional information will be included in the Fenwick Bulletin over the next two weeks.
As you know, PSAT testing for freshmen, sophomores and juniors is being held the morning of October 10th. Testing should conclude around noon. Seniors have been dismissed that day to visit local area colleges/universities or to work on their college essays in the cafeteria that morning, but all seniors are welcome to participate in the afternoon with their grandparents or special guests.
Students who do not have a grandparent or other guest attending should leave the building after PSAT testing has concluded. Parents, please pick up your student in the main lot between 12:00 and 12:15 p.m. Busses will depart for their normal routes at 12:10 p.m. from the school parking lot.
Given our challenges with parking and congestion in the lot at dismissal time, we ask for parents' assistance to help this day run smoothly. Please note the following logistical details.
Please note: The fieldhouse gym and other areas will not be available for gear storage during the day.
Please note: The cafeteria will serve breakfast on Wednesday, October 10th. Regular lunch will not be served on this day. Students who are staying for the event will have a complimentary lunch available to them in the cafeteria between 11:30am-12:30pm.
