Marilyn plans a wide variety of events for Fenwick. Her largest is the Blackfriars Gala held every April. She also works on the Friar Classic and Pass the Torch golf outings. Other events include class reunions, donor recognition and appreciation events, and award ceremonies. Prior to returning to her alma mater, she spent a number of years planning weddings and other social events and providing calligraphy services.
Marilyn and her husband, Keith, reside in the Western suburbs with their two young sons, Vincent and Gabriel. They spend many Sundays feasting at her parents' kitchen table nearby, along with fellow alumni Mark '94 and Rosanna '03.
Most of her free time is spent chasing around her boys, always with a camera in hand. She loves to travel, read, visit her old stomping grounds in the city, and spend time with her girlfriends. Marilyn has an affection for luxe stationery, cleverly named beauty products, well-timed caffeinated beverages, and anything with a pineapple on it.
A product of Catholic education, Marilyn attended Our Lady of Mt. Carmel grammar school. She then graduated from Fenwick in 1998, in the third coed class. She received her Bachelor's of Arts from Providence College, and as such, is considered a Double Friar.
