ABOUT GERALYN MAGRADY
First and foremost, Geralyn Magrady is the mother of two Fenwick Friars: Ethan (’18) and Liam (’19). With a B.A. from Dominican University and M.Ed. from Northeastern Illinois University, she has been an English teacher for twenty years and currently teaches English I and English II College Prep. Her extracurricular activities include Speech Club, the St. Catherine/St. Lucy Tutoring Program, and the Grade School Speech Tournament. Outside the classroom, Magrady is the author of LINES— (a novel of Chicago historical fiction) and is the 2016 winner of the Soon to be Famous Illinois Author Project, a statewide self-publishing initiative sponsored by the Illinois Library Association and Reaching Across Illinois Library Systems. She enjoys reading, writing, music, and genealogy research.
