Banua 2018

50th Celebration

Annual musical comedy review featuring solo and group music acts, chorus numbers and original skits — January 26th & 27th, 2018.

The Historic FENWICK AUDITORIUM Needs You!

The Fenwick auditorium once was heralded as a state-of-the-art auditorium comparable to commercial venues of its era. Featured in Boxoffice magazine in 1962, it was praised as “A model theater in beauty, acoustics, projection, sound – in a high school”.

Today, our beloved auditorium still is home to many events and productions, but 57 years have taken their toll. The majority of the lighting and sound systems are outdated and in serious need of replacement.

To help celebrate the 50th production of Banua, we are asking alumni to help us raise $25,000. With your help, we hope to have new headsets, stage monitors and other lighting and audio improvements for the January 26th and 27th performances.

We are off to a great start; a generous donor has agreed to match every gift up to $5,000!

You can give online at or by mail to Fenwick High School, attn. J. Iarrobino, 505 Washington Ave, Oak Park, IL 60302.

And don’t forget... we are still searching for the best Roger Finnell impersonators for the 50th Banua Celebration on Saturday, January 27th, 2018! Contact Roger at if you are up to the challenge.

We welcome all alumni to join us for a pre-Banua cocktail reception in the library on 1/27/18 night starting at 5:30 p.m.

Help us restore this important and treasured piece of Fenwick history. Thank you for your support…Go Friars!
