Fenwick Girls Lacrosse is a member of the Girls Catholic Athletic Conference and competes against traditional rivals and state and national powerhouses. Fenwick Girls’ Lacrosse will compete for an IHSA championship in the Spring of 2018.

Meet the Captains!
Anabella Dougherty of Western Springs is the daughter of Susan Dougherty. Bella is parishioner and graduate of St. John of the Cross, is a member the Fenwick cross country team and the Italian Club. Bella plays the guitar, volunteers her time with the archdiocese LOSS initiative and traveled on a mission trip to Tanzania, Africa in 2016. Bella will earn her third varsity letter in 2018 and has exhibited great versatility as a player. She has collected 41 ground balls, scored twice and caused 14 turnovers in her career. Bella is a cerebral athlete who has a 100% “Team First” approach.
Margaux Giacotto of Elmwood Park is the daughter of Suzanne & Pierre-Louis Giacotto. She is parishioner and graduate of St. Vincent Ferrer in River Forest. Margaux is participated with Fenwick’s Hapkido Club, French Club, Cross Country team, and is a guitar playing Banua performer. Margaux volunteers her time at local dog shelters, coaches wheelchair lacrosse and has traveled to Mississippi on a mission trip. Margaux will see her 4th year as a starter in the midfield. Her career has been very successful, she’s won 97 draws, 93 ground balls and scored 55 goals. Margaux’s work ethic is infectious, her commitment to self-improvement is something her teammates admire.
Goalkeeper Grace Koerner is the daughter of Colleen and Greg Koerner of Western Springs. Grace is a member and graduate of St. John of the Cross Parish and is a member of the National Honor Society, the Fenwick Investment club, Model UN and the Spanish Club. Grace is a Captain of the Fenwick Cheerleading team. Grace will earn her third varsity letter in 2018. In her three years between the pipes, Gracie has compiled a 47% save percentage and goals against average of 9.7. Grace has a great approach to the game and is a master communicator.
