2018 53rd Annual Turkey Bowl
Since the first Turkey Bowl was held in 1966, Fenwick swimming, diving, and water polo alumni have returned every Thanksgiving morning to the Fenwick pool to test the waters and reminisce about their time at Fenwick. From 1966 through 2001, the event pitted the crafty alumni against the current, in shape, high school students. When the IHSA sponsored water polo as a sanctioned sport in Illinois, the alumni vs. the current students competition was put by the wayside as high school students would no longer be able to compete in this event. Since then, the Turkey Bowl has become an alumni only event often pitting the even graduation years vs. the odd graduation years. The tradition of returning to Fenwick on Thanksgiving morning has continued on, and we look forward to celebrating our 53rd Turkey Bowl this year. After the match, we will meet up at O'Sullivan's Public House in Forest Park for some pre-Thanksgiving Dinner snacks. We hope to see you this year!
