  • My child is interested in a Fall sport. Does he/she have to pre-register?

    There is no pre-registration, however, it is important that your son/daughter attend the first day of practice and/or try-outs.

  • When does the Fall season begin?

    The Fall season begins on August 9th (Football & Golf begin on August 7th).

  • My child participates in _________. How is playing time determined?

    Playing time is a coaching decision based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, talent/skill level, effort, commitment, respect, and character. Coaches want to know that their athletes are coachable and trustworthy.

  • How do I get something in the Daily Bulletin?

    The Marketing Communications Department manages the Daily Bulletin. Please see your program Coach for information on how to submit an announcement for the Daily Bulletin. 

  • Who manages the Fenwick website?

    Marketing Communications also manages the website.

  • How does Fenwick contribute to the year-end banquets?

    Fenwick contributes $15 per athlete/coach.

  • How do we receive funds for the year-end banquet?

    Communicate the number of athletes and coaches attending and who the check should be made out to.

  • How does Fenwick participate in Senior Night?

    On a designated home game toward the end of the season, there will be a brief ceremony in which the athlete along with his/her parents are introduced. Fenwick will have a rose for each senior to present to a parent or guardian. The President and Principal are invited to all Senior Nights. Fenwick does not contribute financially in any other way.

  • My son or daughter also participates in travel ________. What do I do if it conflicts with a Fenwick sport?

    Fenwick athletics takes precedence over travel, club sports, AAU, etc. If your child decides to participate in a non-Fenwick activity during the season, it will be considered an unexcused absence.

  • My son/daughter participates in multiple sports. How do I juggle more than one sport?

    Fenwick encourages multi-sport athletes. As a result, the in-season sport is a priority. The summer can be challenging and requires communication and compromise with the student-athlete and coaches. The Athletics Director can help facilitate these discussions.

  • How much does it cost to attend a Fenwick athletic event?

    There is only an admission charge for Varsity Football, Varsity Boys’/Girls’ Basketball, Girls’ Volleyball and Wrestling. The cost for admission is $5 for adults and $3 for children/students.

  • My son or daughter could not attend the banquet and needs to pick up his or her letter. Who do I contact?
