Hello fellow Friars, Friar families, and Friar alumni
My name is Seth Gamino, class of 2001. I am writing to you on behalf of The Fenwick Wrestling team. I have had the honor of coaching our Friars for the past 4 years. We are hosting opening night on Wednesday 11/21/18 against Highland Park. I wanted to take the time to invite everyone and anyone with Friar Pride to our opening night. Since coming back to the program, I have always thought about when I was a kid watching my brother Sal Gamino, class of 95, wrestle on the night before Thanksgiving. I had the same honor to do so for 4 memorable years as a Friar wrestler. It was an exciting night and the stands were always filled with fans. I am a disciple of Coach Jerry Ruffino and he ran the wrestling program with great pride for 20 plus years. I hope to do the same. Head Coach Peter Kowalczuk and I want to put the Friar Pride back in Black.
We are hoping everyone will come out to support our young Friars and FILL THOSE STANDS. The meet will be held in the Lawless Gymnasium on November 21st @5:00pm. Please spread the word to all Fenwick families and anyone who wants to come out for a fun night of wrestling. After our dual meet, Coach Kowalczuk and I will be hosting a night at Healy's Westside on Madison Ave. in Forest Park to catch up and see some familiar faces. It will be an exciting night. So come on out to support our Friars, see some old friends, walk the halls, be amazed at all the renovations, get a big hug from Coach Ruffino and make our Friars feel the pride we had in our school then and still have now.
RSVP to the event by contacting Peter Durkin at email@example.com or 708-948-0323.
I appreciate your time and look forward to seeing everyone
