Class of 1961
60-Year Reunion of our Freshman Year
Saturday, September 23, 2017
1527 Harlem Avenue
Forest Park, IL
Buffet Lunch - $20 per person
As we communicated a few months ago, we will be holding a 60th reunion of our freshman class this September instead of waiting four more years for the 60th reunion of our graduation. After all, some of us aren’t as young and active as we were a few years ago. Let’s get together while we still think that we’re young!
Our reunion will take place on Saturday, September 23rd at R-Place (1527 Harlem Ave.) in Forest Park. We’ll meet at Noon and stay until, I’ve collected all the money, and gambled it at the slot machines. A buffet lunch will be $20 per person and we’ll have a cash bar, but, water is free. You can pay when you arrive or, if you prefer, can mail a check to me, Jack. For this event, I will not charge a handling fee, for processing the check. Either way, please let one of us know if you plan to attend, so that we can make the appropriate food arrangements. Spouses and guests are welcome. Adequate seating will be available, for all who pay, others will do the dishes, and clean the bathrooms. If needed, loans are available, with interest rates, well under 28% !
We hope to see you there! These get-togethers are always a good time, and you never know when it might be the last, for some of us. Let’s meet, have some fun, and share stories Lawless, Fisher, Reardon, the wonderful Fr. Dooley, and, a few others, whose images, cannot be removed from our memories.
