Fenwick Student Services provides a comprehensive approach to college selection and placement. “College 101” is part of our ‘Summer College Series’ that provides incoming freshman parents with an overview of how to plan for college as a family. During the school year, over 300 college representatives visit Fenwick to meet with our students and to inform them about their institutions. Families share in the success of their child’s placement and genuinely appreciate the “hands on” approach to help each student find that proverbial “right fit”. Highlights of this work:
2300 COLLEGE APPLICATIONS DURING THE 2018-2019 SCHOOL YEAR (280 SENIORS).
CLASS OF 2020 ATTENDING SCHOOLS IN 31 STATES, D.C., SCOTLAND AND POLAND.
5 EVANS SCHOLARSHIPS.
COLLEGE APPLICATION AND ESSAY WRITING SEMINARS THROUGHOUT THE 1ST QUARTER OF THE SCHOOL YEAR.
THREE COLLEGE COUNSELORS ARE AVAILABLE TO ADVISE AND DIRECT STUDENTS ON THEIR COLLEGE SEARCH.
Fenwick offers both morning and afternoon transportation to the city and suburbs. Please reference our Transportation Page for greater details or contact our Admissions Office to discuss any individual question regarding your child’s transportation needs.
New bus routes to Lincoln Park, Buck Town, West Loop, Lakeview and more!
Dear Future Friars and Future Fenwick Families,
Thank you for taking the time to consider Fenwick High School as your future school. Since its founding in 1929, Fenwick has been an institution that expects and encourages excellence from its student body. Fenwick Friars are part of an environment that focuses on developing the whole student. Rigorous academics, competitive athletics and the Dominican Catholic pillars of prayer, study, community and preaching prepare each and every student to be successful in high school, college and beyond, professionally and personally.
Our diverse student body consists of young men and women with different economic and cultural backgrounds from throughout Chicagoland. Being a Fenwick Friar means that you are a part of the Fenwick community that shares our school’s strong tradition of excellence and firmly believes that holding high expectations of one another will result not only in our individual success but the success of our greater community. We continually seek to attract students to Fenwick who are willing to work hard, in and outside of the classroom, and who maintain high expectations of themselves and their peers.
This website provides important information about becoming a Fenwick Friar. After visiting our site, please do not hesitate to contact my office with any questions you may have about Fenwick. We look forward to speaking with you and your family.
