Student Support Systems

Fenwick High School has a variety of support systems in place to support our diverse student population such as:

  • The Learning Resource Program:  Is a program designed and led by Grace David and Kyle Kmiecik, who are both certified within Special Education.  This program is in place to support any students with needs as they transition to the rigorous Fenwick curriculum
  • Friar Mentors:  Is a peer-to-peer tutoring program, which is overseen by current Fenwick teachers.  Friar Mentors provide support and tutoring in various subjects before school and throughout the school day to the students of Fenwick High School.
  • The Write Place: Is our student writing center that offers peer tutoring in a variety of subjects. Tutors provide feedback both virtually and in person during lunch periods. All students are welcome to visit the Write Place, which is overseen by current Fenwick English teachers.
  • The Shield Program: A peer mentoring program to support freshman with their transition into high school
