Fenwick High School, a private, Catholic college preparatory high school in Oak Park is looking for a part-time (15–20 hours/week) Sales Associate for its Friar Shop. The Friar Shop offers spirit wear to our students, faculty/staff and outside constituents. Will need to occasionally work some evening/weekend hours at sports events or at school.
Responsibilities include administrative duties related to ordering product, stocking items, taking/moving inventory, making product design/buying decisions and arranging displays. Daily tasks involve processing a sale, answering questions and providing relevant information to the customer regarding the merchandise. Will be expected to bring necessary product to off-site events and put together marketing baskets as promotions and for fundraisers.
The ideal candidate will be flexible and available to work occasional nights/weekends, possess great customer service skills in a retail sales environment, excellent organizational and communication skills and a friendly disposition to service our customers. Ability to use a cash register and keep accurate records is necessary.
