7 Fenwick Students Tally Perfect ACT Scores

Seven students attending Fenwick High School have attained the maximum score of 36 on the American College Test (ACT), one of the standardized examinations used for college admission in the United States. Additionally, the 27.5 ACT composite for the Class of 2018 may well rise higher after retakes, reported Richard Borsch, Fenwick’s Associate Principal and Director of Student Services.

“On a typical national test date, more than one million students sit for the ACT,” said Mr. Borsch, who is celebrating his 50th work anniversary at Fenwick. “Perhaps a bit over or under 1,000 will score a perfect 36. For one school to have five seniors and two juniors who attained perfection is a compliment to both their academic preparation and their innate ability.”

This elusive, highest possible ACT score places these students at the top of millions of high school students and can be a big boost to their college applications, according to PrepScholar.
