The Corey Maggette Flight 50 Basketball Camp Comes to Fenwick
The Corey Maggette Flight 50 Basketball Camp will be held at Fenwick High School July 28th - August 1st, 9 a.m. - 4:00 pm. The Corey Maggette Flight 50 Basketball Camp is lead by professional basketball player Corey Maggette, Fenwick Class of 1998, directed by Jimmie M. Maggette, and is hosted by Fenwick High School. The camp is open to students 8th grade through 12th grade.
Flight 50 Camp counselors are educated and dedicated individuals who will work with the campers not only on the fundamental skills of basketball but also the education of the game and the education of health and conditioning.
Registration begins Monday, June 30th and ends Tuesday, July 15th. Please send registration forms to Fenwick High School.

2009 Homecoming Football Change
The homecoming football games against St. Ignatius originally scheduled for Saturday, October 4th, have been moved to Friday evening, October 3rd.
The sophomore game will begin at 5:00pm and the varsity game will begin at 7:30pm. Both games will be played at Morton Stadium at 24th and Harlem.

Makin' Tracks
Fenwick High School, and the River Forest Park District are proud to host the 11th Annual Community Bank Makin Tracks 5K Run/Walk. This race is presented by the Community Bank of Oak Park River Forest, the River Forest Park District, Concordia University Chicago, and Fenwick High School. This year’s event is a Chicago Area Runners Association (CARA) registered race, and takes place through the flat, tree-lined streets of River Forest. All net proceeds from the race will go to the West Suburban Special Recreation Association, to provide superior recreation services for adults and children who have physical impairment, a mental disability, or any other type of disability to children and adults with special needs.

Fenwick Student Achieves Perfect Score
Emily Hayman, a Lemont resident and Senior at Fenwick High School, was one of only 24 college-bound students in Illinois and one of 172 in the U.S. and abroad to achieve a 36, the highest possible composite score, on the April 2008 national test administration of the ACT. About 26,500 Illinois students, and 490,000 from across the nation, completed the ACT college-admissions exam on April 12, 2008.
