YALE UNIVERSITY A CAPPELLA GROUP PERFORMS FOR THE CHOIRS.

On January 6, 2009, the Yale University a cappella vocal group the Spizzwinks(?) performed a variety of vocal selections for the Concert Choir, Women's Chorus, and Men's Chorus at an assembly specially scheduled for the choirs. The performance included many a cappella standards for male voices as well as pop tunes.

After the performance, the Spizzwinks conducted a 45 minute workshop with all of the male choir members. Focusing on pitch, breathing, and maintaining close harmonies in 4-part a cappella singing, the men learned a great deal about working as a group and in developing individual part participation. The men learned the song "Tracks of My Tears" which will be featured at the Fenwick Spring Concert.
